Four things that get you a straight quote.
- How long you plan to stay — a night, a week, a season.
- Whether you need a kitchen, and how much of one.
- How many people, and whether a dog is coming.
- Roughly when you expect to arrive, if it is late.
If you're booking for a crew or a month-plus stay, say so up front — that's a different conversation, and usually a better rate.
